AFRIHOST - Worst ISP for 2018 (in my opinion)

This is just a public service rating to assist people when choosing a ISP.

PLEASE do yourselves a favour , and NEVER EVER come to Afrihost. I have been with them for almost 10 years , and while their service was great before , they have have gotten pathetic since about 2016. Their service has just gone down the drain. They very rarely get back to you on any issues , you will have to keep on following up with them. They want to mainly deal with you on e mail or whats app , and their call centre agents merely copy and paste template responses and very rarely actually read what you are requesting from them. The call back feature , never works , they only call you back when you threaten to move your business. Like I said , this is not an emotional , or snap review , this is after enduring 2 years of bad service from them , that I have made the decision to change my ISP. I am even considering going back to Telkom. Yes , even HELKOM, is better to deal with , than Afrihost at present (Oct 2018). To avoid headaches and unnecessary frustrations , I recommend any other ISP for now. Give AFRIHOST a miss, for the sake of your SANITY.
