Afrihost - WORST Internet provider EVER. Zero customer service.

Afrihost is the WORST internet provider I have ever come across. I would give NO stars if possible. My mother is a pensioner and has recently moved into a retirement village. She signed with Afrihost as her service provider. They have provided ZERO service. She still doesn't have internet almost two months later. I live in the UK and I video call her every day to check she is OK. She is burning through a fortune's worth of data to try to stay online. She is so stressed by the whole situation. Afrihost don't have any facilities for customers to call them. Everything is done via chat. This is not feasible for someone in their late 70s. My mom needs someone to talk to. Every time she ends up messaging with a different person and gets passed from pillar to post and nobody takes responsibility for fixing the problem. When she doesn't type fast enough the chat gets shut down. So many promises have been broken. They promised her a new router, it never arrived. They promised to send Vumatel to see her in 24 - 48 hours, as they were blaming them for the problem, but never did. It's a sh*t show of note. Be warned, do NOT do business with Afrihost. Their business is to provide Internet service and they even can't do that. Tomorrow my mom will be cancelling her contract with them and getting her money back. If I have to hire a lawyer to get every cent back, I will. I should also sue for all the costs she has incurred having to buy expensive data packages from her cell provider. NEVER again Afrihost.
