Afrihost what is happening to you?

So for rhe last 2 months I have been having exstremly poor MTN LTE speeds , I eventually escalated the matter via the Technical support team at Afrihost, the person assisting me , did a reset , I had to switch my router of for 10min and it was even worse, so I discussed with this person that i was busy with, that I would rather move to the same product on Vodacom, as I suspect MTN is becoming to congested , I can't remember if she transferred me - but essentially I got the link that I requested from her

I went to the website- but could not figure out wich product was the Vodacom one , I e mailed the lady back , she sent me a link , I clicked on it , it was at the products , I ordered the same product, and waited , as I figured I have already paid for this month

The first correspondence I received of when the product was going to arrive, was on the day it arrived, about 2Hrs before the time

Opened the new router, only to find it was another MTN LTE - now 5G , plugged it in , Up 12 Down 10

Now im very sure that im not mad in thinking that no one would be so *********, to try and trap you in 2 MTN Uncapped products, or should I say I really trusted Afrihost - because their service has always been fantastic - but their call center today told me - the man i was speaking too" it was my responsibility to check! and what do I want him to do now? This is wat I was told- no let me correct that - half screamed at me 30/10/2025 14H41 , I tried to exsplain that it's not my fault, when he started cros****amining me ( I actually was so shocked to hear someone at Afrihost speak to me like that , i just ended the call - still sitting were i was, but his aggression was just to much for me

It's easy to say " you should have known " but if you learn to really trust a person or Company as they ALWAYS deliver excellence , it can at time cause you to be trapped with your pants around your ankles , and who in thier right mind would think that you want 2 Uncapped products for the same house

Now if the communication was better ( how must I know when the new " Vodacom " is coming- i can't sit without internet ) so the thought never even entered my mind , as I can't be on MTN and Vodacom Uncapped at the same adress!!!

But sadly I was directed to the wrong products, and now received another MTN product, that has better speeds - but 30/30 is not really unlimited speed is it?

Realy?!

Very disappointed Afrihost, don't take advantage of people.
