Afrihost - We will charge you for free! Be careful!

Be careful people, I implore you to please check your invoices correctly. What they do is charge you a pro rata fee for the month that you join. The problem, is they are *****ing your money by charging you from the day that the Fibre is laid. Not from the day your router arrives, so you will be paying them for absolutely nothing. Their accounts department (Sipho, in my case), will try spin some long stories, but the minute he was challenged, I had the phone abruptly put down in my ear...

The manager of accounts department then did what she needed to do, and got extremely stroppy when 'telling' me what the process was. When I informed her not to get stroppy with me and Afrihost were the ones that were at fault not the customer, and the customer should not be put out in anyway as it is Afrihosts problem, the call was cut short!

I sincerely hope the ombudsman is reading this thread and targets them for the dishonest business practice they are enforcing.
