I sit today once again without my Afrihost internet service, for about the 40th time since I joined them in February 2018. Every time it goes down, it is anything from 30 minutes to 8 hours. And I warned them if my constant issues were not fixed properly once and for all, I would take my complaints to social media. Afrihost's service is less than sub standard, and I really regret having left my previous one for a deal that looked great at the time. By far some of the worst service from an ISP I have ever experienced. You guys are quick to debit my account, but not so quick to resolve constant technical issues. If you are thinking of joining them - then here is the heads up: Don't expect prompt responses on tickets logged for any issues. Don't expect friendly or personal service. Don't expect call back's when they promise to call you back. Don't expect value for money on any of their packages - they will tie you in for anything from 6 - 18 months, and then politely copy and paste their line of "We're sorry to see you go ..." but by the way you need to pay R... (thousands of Rands) if you would like to cancel your services. And don't expect them to take responsibility for the problem. I have been told multiple times the issue is with TT Connect - but I don't pay TT Connect, I pay Afrihost every month. I have also been told to do a whole bunch of trouble shooting myself from home - none of which actually fixes the issue, but then all you do is start back at 1 and log a new call. They are utterly useless at resolutions and follow through. Glad to see TT Connect were finally taken to court for their poor service levels, although I have no idea where that leaves little me. I hope someone does the same with Afrihost.
