Afrihost used to be excellent, what happened?

I'm having intermittent connection issues. This disconnects my vpn for my office network and is very disruptive. I've opened multiple tickets for this, but each time it's just closed without a resolution or any communication from Afrihost support. The support staff is not very helpful and sometimes a bit rude. They also do not understand the basic principles of networking.

Afrihost used to be excellent, but over the last couple of years I've had to log numerous tickets, and most of them without any resolution.

Time to cancel with them :(
