Afrihost, The Home of Pure Internet Load Shedding. I have had limited or no internet connection for the last 6 weeks. I keep getting told that it isTelkom's fault but i do not pay Telkom for my line i pay Afrihost so that i don't have to deal with Telkom. For the last 6 weeks i have been pushed from pillar to post with this issue. You cannot get through to Afrihost's call centres without holding on for up to 35minutes. I have spent in excess of R7000 (R1500 in the last 2 days) on topping up my Vodacom data. Afrihost has great new products and keep upgrading theses products but they do not keep up with the demand on their call centres, i have been told that they are constantly understaffed. How about upgrading in area's that matter when upgrading to new products instead of collecting peoples money and not supplying the service as promised. I will be cancelling my contracts as soon as i have my new wireless system installed which i will be paying more for but at least i will be able to run my business like a normal person. I highly recommend people do some research before signing up.
