Afrihost = Terrible no HORRIBLE service

I made the decision to join the Afrihost bandwagon due to the fact that they stated (and still do) that THEY will deal with Telkom/Openserve and that I would not have to deal with them.

It has been more than a month ago since I innitiated the process for a fixed adsl line to my house and in that time I have been told time and again "Sir it has not been 30 days and as such you have to wait until then'' each time I have been told this I went through the hassle of phoning Telkom myself and got the matter sorted out that was holding up the process. This has went on from the beginning until 03/05/2017 when I once again had to phone Telkom and sort out the delay on the installation. The call centre could not be bothered in the least to pick up the phone and phone Telkom to hear what the matter was and have it sorted out. I phoned Afrihost on 03/05/2017 to follow up and was told by the ONLY person who should be working in the call centre (Chris Palle you should train your colleages) that the process whould have gone alot faster if I had just innitiated the whole process with Telkom instead of with Afrihost, he was the only call center agent who went as far as to try and assist and not just hide behind the fact that it has not been 30 days garbage.

Afrihost your service thus far has been terrible/horrific and I will be moving to a different ISP as soon as I possibly can because what you promis and what you deliver are worlds apart.

When I initiated the process I was billed (pro-rata) for the data in 03/17 and a full amount for 04/17 and the following month billed full again. I have been billed THREE times already without having been able to use a single MB of data. I had to call in to have then reverse the charges and credit me the amount. Seriously Afrihost you can see that my line is not active so why keep billing me, why does it cost me to call you and request a credit. This shows horrible business practise and should be addressed.

If your are looking to join Afrihost with a new line just safe yourself the hassle and sign up with Telkom and then move your line to Axxecc or something.

I have not used a single megabyte off data and I feel sick to my stomach already with Afrihost.
