AFRIHOST Terrible Customer Support

I contracted with Afrihost in March. I was issued a TPLink Router and MTN Simcard. Already inserted, yet the promised a plug-and-play arrangement/promise wasn't kept. Be that as it may, I have subsequently spent approximately 5 hours in total during the past few weeks with Afrihost's technical support over the phone to get connected. a few times, I managed to connect, only to be dropped after approx an hour (mind you, I wasn't in an area where reach and connectivity could be a problem). I continued to complain. Every conversation started with "we apologise for the inconvenience..." Yet, beyond that, I got nothing. Eventually, during one telephone call, I convinced them to collect the Router to check if perhaps it may be faulty. Thus far (a week later) no feedback or communication was received. in addition, I have written many emails to Afrihost's customer support to seek help. Sometimes I get responses, and sometimes I don't. No one seems to care about customer service. I am now approximately six weeks dedicated without Internet. Every time I attempt to call the help centre, I get stuck with having to explain my problem again, and again and again... Eventually, during one telephone call, I managed to escalate the issue from the call centre person to a "manager". This was an unpleasant experience; the person was rude, impatient, and did not seem interested in really dealing with the issue or solving the problem. She kept interrupting me and did not care to listen and solve my query. I have now reached the end of my patience. Yet, believe me, Afrihost was quick to inform me that the April payment couldn't be debited. I purposefully ensured that from that account, sufficient funds were not available (be mindful of the fact that I have, upon contracting with Afrihost during March, paid for the first subscription and the Router). Why should I pay for April if I have not had the benefit of the service since the commencement of this contract? I summary, no one is sufficiently interested to resolve this issue. I get the impression that there is a "barrier" between the call centre and the customer support people (email), through which I cannot penetrate to reach a person duly authorised and equipped to listen, resolve my issue and get me on my way...
