Afrihost - Slow network speed for days now

<p>I am paying for a 8Mbps capped DSL line (no throttling on capped options) but I am getting network download speeds of 1.24Mbps.</p> <p>I have changed packages, upgraded and all I get when I complain are one-liner e-mails from Afrihost but no results.</p> <p>Is the rest of December & holiday going to be like this?</p> <p>Who are the better service providers out there? (No fibre currently in area)</p>
