Afrihost service is pathetic!!!!

Do not be misled by their "Awards" they have "won" over over the past couple of years. Their service is pathetic as has been indicated by many here on HellpPeter. They say first impressions last! I had just placed 2 orders for 50/25Mbs Fibre line for 2 of my properties. I first received an email confirming the order as expected, but what was disturbing was that the email was referring to installation of a "New Fibre Line" which would take up to 1 week to achieve. Following that an SMS from Openserve giving a Ref number also came in informing me to be on the look out for the Fibre Line installation date. Because these properties had active Fibre Lines, I sought clarity on why Afrihost and Openserve are referring to installation of a "New Fibre Line". On their WhatsApp Chat Help I got the worst agent that any company can have called Palesa M who does not pay attention to messages from a client, and just says what he/she wants to say. All I needed was 2 things: 1. To have the "New Fibre Line Installation" email and SMS rectified. Mine was basically a "new ISP" as I already have the Fibre Line installed. 2. The clarification regarding the existing ONT which Openserve sent me a message at the end of their Free Trial that they are going to take it. So I mentioned this so that Afrihost is aware and thus not only provide me with a Router. Regarding the first Palesa M wrote to me in CAPS saying I must simply ignore the messages. Now how do I ignore a message that talks to something else and has time implications if not rectified? Regardless, that's what she demanded and that we move to the next issue. Then she insisted, again in CAPS that NO ONT WILL BE REMOVED despite the message from Openserve that it will be. The change of writing to CAPS demonstrated someone that was irritated and having no patience or care about what I was enquiring. It showed someone who just wanted to bully me into accepting what they were saying even though it seemed she was responding without understanding my concerns. I then decided to cancel the 2 orders for my houses as first impressions are a sign of what to expect later. So the other reviews are correct, Afrihost is bad news and don't deserve the awards they received as the best ISP!!!
