Afrihost- RELEASE MY DOMAIN

I am truely disgusted with this service provider, they have been giving me the run around, when all i am trying to do is move my domain over to another provider. there was an outstanding amount on my account, they said settle it and then you will be able to transfer - well that didnt work. i called again, this time a guy told me that he is selecting an option on his systems that says "transfer away", i asked him to email me proof of this, he said that he could not as he didnt have an option to email the changes made, nor could he send a screen shot of their system, but assured me that it was not in transfer mode and that my new provider could easily take over with no problem - wrong again, cos the transfer failed again. then i had requested afrihost to contact me again, this time submitting my service providers number - they didnt call back.

my service provider went a step forward and went to their whatsapp chat line, only to be told that afrihost has cancelled my domain, but not released it. they further advised us to send a mail to *** requesting a release on the domain - this is the first thing that i done before calling and chatting etc, with no response or acknowledgement from afrihost.

so the process starts again tommorow, however my first call will be to the consumer protection dep.
