Afrihost Recovers Some Customer Care

Further to my post yesterday, this morning I received a call from a very pleasant lady at Afrihost who patiently guided me through all the diagnostic procedures. What a lovely lady to deal with. After all else failed, I suggested we try a new router, which a friend loaned to me. This worked, and I was guided through the configuration process.

However, Afrihost now needs to replace the router, as the one I am using is on loan. The one that failed was provided by Afrihost in January this year to replace a previous one; I understand that replacement routers are reconditioned units.

Nevertheless, the lady I spoke to did a wonderful job of restoring some confidence in Afrihost, so, to her, thank you very much.
