Afrihost - PURE INTERNET NIGHTMARE

Afrihost service provider - questionable service!!! I am writing this from my wife's FB page as, thanks to Afrihost's mess up and subsequent inability to sort the problems, but just increasingly exacerbating them, I have now been without a computer for close on 2 full weeks. So much for "PURE INTERNET JOY" !!! After spending literally hours and days on end on the phone to a succession of 6 technicians and sending a mail detailing my problems to one of the directors, a very friendly and helpful seventh technician assisted me. I thought this was now the solution, but to my dismay, things only got worse and worse and worse, and now I have had NO RESPONSE AT ALL, neither from the director whom I copied in, nor from this friendly technician. However, the buck was clearly passed on, as I was contacted by someone locally in Durban who I understood to be a local Afrihost agent. He was unable to fix the problem on site, hence took the PC with him and consequently called me 24 hours later to inform me that the problem is far worse than they had been led to believe by Afrihost. And on top of it all I will be saddled with a massive bill of thousands of rands!!! "PURE NIGHTMARE" instead of "PURE INTERNET JOY"
