Afrihost promises and lies

We purchased a LTE router from Afrihost with speed offerings of 10mb and higher, We received it yesterday and after installation I tested the speed on the RAIN network - 1.2 download and 0.7 upload....I contacted Afrihost(held on the line for over an hour) and they did their test through Teamviewer on my PC...explained that they will log the call with the RAIN network people and advise. The line speed has not gotten any better and we decided to cancel this service - as it was not what was offered. We are now told that we will be billed for the first month and that I have to pay for the router...***!!....the only data used was by their tech to check the connectivity and we had the router for one day....my old 56K dialup modem work better! How can they charge the cost for the device and the first payment for something that clearly does not work the way it was advertised?
