AFRIHOST: PATHETIC SERVICE

My order for fibre services and installation was confirmed by Afrihost on 26 Sep 2019. The order was handed over to Openserve on 05 Oct and they contacted me on 07 Oct to arrange for installation on 12 Oct. On 12 Oct the Openserve installer contacted me and whilst arranging the time he realised they were provided with the wrong street name (Cradock vs Hilton). I was told the the installer could not merely change it on his jobcard which made perfectly sense. I immediately contacted Afrihost as they are the service provider and rectified the address via Whatsapp. The agent confirmed that this information will be conveyed to Openserve. I followed up with Afrihost on Tuesday and the agent confirmed the street name is correct and that it has been submitted to Openserve. Needless to say that I did not get any further feedback and on Friday I again contacted Afrihost and enquired how to cancel the order. There was no effort to rectify the problem or to convince me not to cancel thus I raised a formal query with their Support Department who only referred to the original date of submission to Openserve and I had to remind them what the actual problem is. Their response : "kindly provide us with the correct address". In my opinion Afrihost's attitude is "we do not need you, you need us and if you want to cancel go ahead" which is exactly what I did.
