Afrihost & Openserve order abandoned on "Received" – 7 June deadline missed with ZERO communication
I am lodging a formal complaint regarding the unacceptable handling of my Openserve Connect fibre installation order. My order has been stuck on the status "Received" with zero movement, and to date, no service number has been assigned on the Openserve side. The formal installation deadline was yesterday, 7 June, which has now passed with absolutely no communication—no technician scheduling, no SMS updates, and no status reports. The order appears to have been completely parked and forgotten. Order Number (Openserve Side): *** What makes this situation particularly critical is that I explicitly stated from the outset that I work from home. A stable internet connection is a strict requirement for my livelihood. Despite emphasizing this urgency, the timeline has been completely ignored. Every day this order stagnates, it directly impacts my ability to do my job and earn a living. This is a fundamental failure of service delivery and customer management. I demand the following immediate actions from the Afrihost/Openserve escalations team: An immediate update on the exact status of Openserve order *** and why it is stuck. The immediate assignment and communication of my line/service number. A firm, committed installation date—not a vague promise to "look into it." Direct contact from a senior agent or manager who can actually interface with Openserve and push this through today. My patience with this lack of accountability has been exhausted. I expect Afrihost to take ownership of this order, unlock it on the Openserve side, and provide a definitive resolution immediately.
