Afrihost Oh Afrihost, please can we have the fast, consistent internet that we pay for?!

Afrihost is good with apologies. I read on Twitter last evening when trying to find out why we had no internet, plenty of apologies for the inconvenience. We have been without internet since Midday on Sunday. Last night we also got - "Apologies for the inconvenience caused and thank you for the correspondence. Please note that i have checked your account and the line is down, Kindly accept my sincere apology for the connection issue you seem to be experiencing. I will report the fault with the fibre network operator and i will send the ticket ref via SMS Your continued patience will be highly appreciated in the interim. How is it that they are not aware of these faults before we have to do their work for them and report a fault. The technology in place alerts them that there is a disconnect but they do nothing until we start to complain. My next question is - do we not pay for the days that we have no internet and have to be paying for mobile data as well? Of course you pay the full amount - sorry for the inconvenience. When the service is up and running, the speed is ridiculous. I am so over Afrihost, the only problem is - who is better. Just like the government, who is better?
