AFRIHOST ****, FALSE ADVERTISING
I app**** for Afrihost LTE 150mb/s connection for our home in Mountainview Pretoria, AFTER the Afrihost consultants said that we do have proper connection IN our area. On THAT info we app**** and got the Afrihost LTE router delivered to us and we connected a few days later. After weeks of not getting the promised/advertised connection speeds, I contacted SAfrihost(everytime a different consultant - communication problem it seemed) who seemed to not know exactly what the connection problem is/was. Each consultant had a different story, and I thought that they were playing for a sale as the one said we had coverage, and the other said that we do not have coverage. WHO THE HELL SHOULD WE BELIEVE? Finally after weeks of complaints to and fro, I spoke to a European sounding consultant who said that because of this "no coverage" issue, I am now allowed to cancel this **** advertised LTE deal and will NOT BE CHARGED the cancellation fee, to which I immediately rep**** OK and logged the cancellation as advised by the consultant. After logging this cancellation, I got this continuous email from Afrihost that I owe them the R1000/999 cancellation fee! I phoned them and they said ok, they will send the courier to collect the router from me and then they will cancell the cancellation fee as soon as they receive the router. This courier NEVER CAME. So I phoned Afrihost and said that since the courier never came I will bring the router to them personally, which I did the following morning. Arrivinbg at the Afrihost Depot in Rivonia, I went and spoke to a consultant by the name of Zwelethu to whom I handed over the router on VIDEO. I then logged another complaint with Afrihost on Facebook Messanger and spoke to Asaph who gave me the Ticket: NDZ- ********** 1 22 March 2019 15:49pm to which I am still to today waiting for an answer....
