Afrihost Is The Worst Fibre internet Service Provider in South Africa Do Not Consider Them

My Fibre eventually went live this Monday, it worked for 2 days then just went dead, since then I have had to deal with their 1 hour hold times to get through to support (honestly 1 hour on almost every occasion) just to get through to someone who has no clue what the issue is on your line then promises to call back and never does (thanks Mark). Between them and Metro Fibre they have no clue whats going on and honestly nether of them actually care, you are just another number. Dealing with both of these companies has been worse than dealing with Telkom or in fact any government institute of any kind, they are arrogant slow and honeslty dont deserve any support whatsoever anymore. quick to take your money and when there is an issue they dont even know about it unless you follow up. My internet has been down longer than its been up and I pay R1200 a month for this **** service. Do yourself a favour do not consider them, find a smaller company who wants the support and who care about their clients. a wireless option may even be better.
