Afrihost is the worst company to ever deal with.

I have had the worst experience with Afrihost my whole time being with them. From the beginning they took my money and left me with no internet and no responses. Today was the final straw. I cancelled my contract with them on the 30th of March, submitted the form on their website and watched it tell me it’s submitted and confirmed to be stopped by the 30th of April as planned. I have to pay the full amount of R597 for the month of April and I’m not even using it. I am now told that they cannot see that cancellation request on their side and there’s nothing they can do so they cancelled it again for me and it will stop on the 31st of May which means I am forced to pay another month of not even using it and was never sent an email about the monthly price increase this month. I phoned to speak to customer support and the woman I spoke to was disgustingly rude, abrupt, sarcastic and short fused. She was so rude to me and had the worst attitude I’ve ever heard and spoke back all the time. There was no care and support at all and she did not even help me with my issue. As soon as I phoned back to speak to the manager another lady told me her manager was not there and I asked if there was no other manager in the whole of customer support and she told me no. Again that is ridiculous and a complete lie. I will never use Afrihost again their service is absolutely appalling and the price is not worth the hassle.
