Afrihost is terrible.

I have had the worst experience with Afrihost and Vumatel.

Every month they take the debit order for my line, which I am happy to pay if it works.

I logged a call on the 28th of November after experiencing slow internet and drops in connection. I specifically asked for someone to come out and check the line as I went through the ridiculous prompts of please unplug and try again only to receive the same response to my request.

Yesterday the internet went down again and has not come back. After a lengthy back and forth Afrihost advised me that there is nothing they can do and will log a ticket for someone to come assist. This should take 48 hours and then continued to advise that I should use my data and hotspotting until further notice.

I was also advised that afrihost does not have a refund or pro rata payment structure and that I pay for a 50 line but will get 25 if I'm lucky on the days it actually works. No refund on days it is down or simply decides to be so slow you don't even get what's apps.

Not only do you get patronized and belittled but there is an attitude of Oh Well it is what it is.

Honestly the worst service, I would not recommend this to anyone and even go as far as tell people to avoid afrihost at all cost.
