Afrihost is ***** - fan turned bitter

A few years back when I first left Cybersmart to join Afrihost I really praised Afrihost to everyone I spoke to in the IT industry. About a 2 months ago I started having issues with connections and speed etc. I complained about it and was sometimes late with payments due to being unsure about them delivering. I tried a few things like changing packages as a last attempt to stay with the company. They eventually told me I live in a bad area and cant have fast internet. End of last month I received a bill of over R1000 for services they wanted to give me for the month of October. I usually spend about R600. I finally had enough and told them to shove their internet and said they wouldnt get another cent out of me. I refused to pay and disconnected from their service. I then signed up with Vox (who are brilliant. Super fast uncapped with no problems)<br> <br> I carried on with my life knowing that I would never return to Afrihost. I only today realised that when they never received payment from me they charged my credit card with R1095 without my permission.<br> <br> If you are looking for internet, please do research before choosing an ISP. You will notice Afrihost has bad value for money
