Imagine having signed up with an ISP and then WITHOUT CONSENT, being upgraded?

I was notified that the 25/25 line that I had signed up for is going to be automatically upgraded to a 55/25 line. This is completely unnecessary and I live alone, so I don't understand the necessity.

When contacting customer care, I was told "we do not offer 25/25 anymore", yet it appears on their website. So what is the truth?
