Afrihost *****ing money

On the 1st of November 2023, my debit order for our fiber line went of, R727, but our line was cancelled 'due to non payment'! I chatted to some people at Afrihost, and they couldn't tell me why the line was cancelled, because they could see the payments that was every month. Also, I have been wrongfully charged a cancellation fee of R999, for a cancelled line that I didn't cancel!!

While disputing the issue, they added the Vuma line back to my profile, as this was also removed, and at the same time, they changed a previous requested line from Openserve, to a Vuma Aerial line (Openserve doesn't have coverage where we are). So with this change, they charged me another R727.

I disputed this again, and they said they can't cancel the line on their end, and I have to cancel it and request a refund from accounts, which I did. The extra Aerial line that Afrihost added, has now been cancelled, and I have been charged another R999 cancellation fee.

To date (6 November 2023), I have paid R2 725 for mistakes and incompetence on Afrihost's side, and haven't been refunded for any of their mistakes yet.

This is unfair and *******. Added things to clients profiles, deducting the money from their accounts, and then having issues when you want refunds.
