Afrihost increases entry level package during Covid-19 Pandemic.

I called Afrihost to downgrade my package from 10M line to 8M line due to affordability during the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic and I was told that I am unable to downgrade as the entry level is now 10M. @ R797.00 p/m. This should have been mentioned on the day I upgraded to 10M a couple of weeks back. Nothing was mentioned to me upon upgrading. The majority of your competitors all upgraded members free of charge during the first phase of lock down, what did Afrihost do for their clients? Nothing. No communication during the lock down, no discount, no free or at least discounted rates. I am definitely moving over to a service provider with better, more affordable packages. I feel you should be able to downgrade packages during the current circumstance. People are losing their jobs and salaries are cut and the best you can offer loyal clients is to cut's the more affordable package during this difficult time. It just doesn't make sense. I am utterly disappointed and would like to request a cancellation of my membership/Subscription. I will most definitely make sure that everyone struggling to pay bills due to this pandemic be warned about your lack of understanding and support. You could surely have waited until after the lock down has been lifted to cut your most affordable package.
