AFRIHOST HAVE BECOME *******
Hi All<br> I signed up with Afrihost in good faith on a 2 year mobile mifi deal that, at the time had a 3 + 2 gb deal.<br> I have now subsequently learnt that they have discontinued the deal and moved me back to 3Gb of Data.<br> I fully understand that one may do so on a month to month account they offer, but they should be honouring the deal for customers whom they have locked in fixed period deals.<br> I am disgusted

We are sincerely sorry that you feel this way.
The offer you are referring to may have had a hardware (device) component over two years, but the data was clearly marked as a promotion with a specific date when the promotional would be discontinued or amended. The data promotion was extended, and revised, several times before it was eventually discontinued, all of which was communicated via email and our website.
We do offer Afrihost Plus as an alternative to receive double data on mobile (as well as guaranteed 2 for 1 top ups) for an additional R99pm. This was also emailed to all clients for their information.
All data deals are month to month and we never lock clients into fixed contracts.
