Afrihost from excellent to pathetic...

I have been a client of Afrihost for well over a decade. The customer service used to be the very best buy sadly it has deteriorated to almost zero. Submitting a ticket is sometimes answered without assistance but simply only confirming what your concern is! Absolutely atrocious customer service. For instance I purchased a new Pure LTE deal about 6 months ago. I never observed at that time (if it was there) that I had to use one of their mentioned devices or else the SIMCARD will not work, meantime I had happily been using the SIMCARD without issue in my own Huawei router without a problem for all this time! Suddenly about 6 months later they suspend my card and cut me off the internet! When they explained that only their devices would work, I advised them that my own Huawei device had been working perfectly! They continued to bully and pressurise me to use one of the devices they say on their website are the only devices that would work. Guess what? They have no stock of any the Huawei devices mentioned on their website! So here I sit without WiFi using my own data because of their incompetency! They also mention on their website that only Cat 6 devices will work. Firstly mine is not a Cat 6 device and works perfectly and secondly some of the devices they say you have to use are also not Cat 6! Absolutely shocking! I now will have no option but to cancel this deal and sign up elsewhere.
