AFRIHOST: Fixed Wireless "Free" month ****!

On the Afrihost website it says your can get Fixed Wireless. 2 Options: 1 month Free, or a Free Router. Sounds like a pretty good deal. Tried to find more info on this, and ask to test it, but NEVER got a response. I then thought it might be a good idea to use the "FREE" month as my test. Said FREE afterall.

So I used it for a couple of weeks. Went OK-ish, cant really complain, nice and fast. Only thing I did not enjoy was the fact that it would every now and then randomly disconnect. I never raised a complaint for this, cause afterall, this is my "FREE" month.

I cancelled the service just before this month ended. And true as Bob, I got billed for it.... When querying the bill I was told the cancellation is only affective a month later.... Even worse than this, there's a cancellation fee of R999!!!

So this "FREE" month... Now is going to cost me the same as 3 full months.

THIS IS A ****. Noted though, it is all listed in the T&C, which they are happy to point you towards, but they do not make mention of this during sign up.
