Good day Ever since I received my fixed wireless router on Thursday and its now almost a week, and sim card I have had a lot of run-a-rounds each time I call Afrihost for assistance, the first time I called was to verify whether the sim card was RICA'd I was told that all sim cards are dispatched already RICA'd, the following call I made I was told that digital planet was the one responsible for processing my RICA documents. I contacted Digital Planet and I am told to contact Afrihost technical team for assistance, I do just that and I am told to send a copy of my ID for vitrification, I do just that and I ask how long is it going to take to register my sim card I am told in the next 30mins. Guess what I get home later that evening and my sim card is still not registered. I send a live chat message and I ask what is going on and why the delay, I am told that my device reflects as not being collected or delivered. And that my case is being escalated. Now my question is why is it that every time I inquired about my sim not being registered I keep getting different stories and why is it that none of the consultants that assisted me picked up that my device still shows that it was not picked up or delivered? I am very disappointed in the level of service I have been receiving from Afrihost. My issue has not being resolved and all I keep getting is stories and resolutions. Now I am told that the sim card is not getting any signal due to where I live, and a call has been logged with I.S (internet solutions) which I do know is going to take another day or two to get back to me. Which I find is very strange because a friend of mine bought the exact same device and sim from Afrihost and he has had no issues with it, I have even swapped sim cards and placed mine in his router and still the sim card does not work. I am not too sure what is going on here but I would like to get a resolution for my problem or I cancel my contract.
