Afrihost Fiber Services

For months now I have regularly complained to Afrihost about my internet speed that is not what I pay for. My line speed is meant to be 200/200 but I only get around 80-95Mb/s. I have once met one of the support ladies on the Whatsapp line that was able to partially resolve the issue. She refreshed my line after which I was able to achieve the 200/200 speed. However this did not last very long. I again logged a call and another agent assisted and the end of it was that he was going to log a call with OpenServ. As time went by and no response regarding the line I logged another call with Afrihost. In my call detail I listed all the calls I had and who I spoke to. I indicated what resolved the issue once. The support agent keeps on asking me for photos of a speed test which must be done by a computer connected to the router with a cable and not Wi-Fi. As a note, the 200mb achieved previously was with the devices on Wi-Fi and not a cable. After sending the support agent all the photos over two days, I all of a sudden is informed that the images were not acceptable as it had to display the computer time of when the speed test was done. As it stands, my line is still not fixed and probably won't anytime soon. They will probably want photos of the pins of the cable connected to my computer next. They will probably also stop short of requesting a DNA sample. I am starting to think that the support staff is *********** and hiding behind photos of a speed test so they won't have to resolve my issue. Furthermore, I have been paying for a 200mb line for months now. Every month Afrihost is happy to take my money and fail to render the full service I pay for. Refunds or discounts do not exist in their vocabulary. I would not recommend anyone to go to Afrihost for fibre services. You are better off with smoke signals than a fibre service from Afrihost.
