Afrihost definitely the worst Internet provider

I app**** and got fibre from Afrihost, selecting a package that indicated that my account would only be debited on the debit date I selected the 25th of each month. They have this feature after you captured your account details where they pay in R1 as confirmation that the account nr given is correct. Then you have to go back on their website, and activate the debitorder. What people do not know, and we only realized then, was this was an open door for them to keep on debiting our account as they wished! I sent numerous e-mails, which became so frustrating, ending up saying they would not debit my account on the date I selected, but when they debited all their accounts, which was free range, as since I signed up, my account was debited 3 times, within a week! I have then told them that I am cancelling the service, to which they rep****, do it on the website. The information they gave was incorrect on how to do this, but I got it right. Now it shows my cancellation is pending, pending on who? I have done exactly as instructed, and why must I do what a company wants, but they do not what a customer picked on the initial contract by selecting a date for the debit order? This is the worst company to do business with, and I can't think how they got to be the best ISP as advertised. I will not recommend them, and even if they do not accept my cancellation, which is my right, I will just reverse the debit order if they try again!
