AFRIHOST Business Interuption - Account Upgrade Drive - AFRIHOST Consultants dont understand IT or basic Mathermatics

AFRIHOST Business Interuption - AFRIHOST Consultants dont understand IT or basic Mathermatics

Much like millions of other people I run a small business largely dependant on commumications mediums such as email for interaction with customers and suppliers.

On Monday 7th August I noticed that I wasnt recieving emails from my AFRIHOST email accounts and that my access to my Inbox POP3 wasnt available. Upon contacting them I was informed that I was over my Disk Quota. Based on this AFRIHOST suspended access to my access to my Inbox POP3 Inbox and my Webmail. After checking my mailboxes according to my Mathermatics I was well within my Disk Quota and chellenged varios Afrihost Consultants over the next two days. The consultant told me that the only way to resolve was to upgrae my account to a bigger package or delete email. I challenged him that I wouldnt be able to delete email if they didnt grant me access back to my POP3 account. I spend a diproportionate amount of time clearing important emails and archiving with still no working solution.

After doings the Math again I challenged and begged AFRIHOST yesterday to relook at my account for the 10 time because what they were telling me didnt add up.

After insisting that the recheck everything I get this response yesterday morning

" I could see that there was mismatch in the disk quota allocated for the domain and this has caused the disk quota exceeded issue. Now I have set it properly as 1000 MB. Hence you will not be receiving the disk quota error until you have exhausted the 1000 MB and you will not be facing any issue in receiving emails."

I had only used 38% of my Quota and my services were wrongfully terminated by a bunch of fooking IT ***boys that cant fooking count.

No appology needed AFRIHOST - A few clowns short of a circus :-)

Just for some additional thought - I am an Independant IT Consultant meaning that I sit in front of diferent customers of various sizes on a daily basis week in and week out.

What should I tell my customers who like me are running businesses and depend on services such as email? You tell me?
