AFRIHOST - BAD SERVICE

I have a LTE Rooter with Afrihost, service provider is Cell C. From beginning September I lost complete connection. With lots of telephone calls and emails, they told me that I don't have coverage anymore where I live. I have tested it with a pre paid Cell C Sim and I did get coverage. I told them over and over that something is wrong with the sim card. Afrihost emailed me and said I must cancelled with them, which I did now. Now they don't want to refund my debit order. They deducted my September debit order of R349.00 and the 50gig can't be used. see email from Afrihost.

Apologies for the delayed response, I was still waiting for the feedback on my side.

In regards to the account being credited, unfortunately, that won't be possible as Cell c had already allocated the data, this can't be reversed once done. I've escalated the query with our critical care department to arrange for a replacement sim card. I will contact you once I have the feedback from them.

on facebook now they told me Hey Antoinette, there are rumours that Cell C is terminating fixed-LTE services within the next 2 or 3 months, which is why we are not able to give you a new sim card. Our directors are negotiating with CellC so that we can keep our clients but nothing has been finalized. This is why we are recommending the Telkom fixed wireless service instead.
