Afrihost and MTN taking too long to activate sim card

Hi, I Signed up for the Afrihost - MTN Pure LTE sim which I received on Monday (11.11.2019) at 13:25. Till today the sim is not activated and call center agents keep escalating the matter to MTN with no assistance. I am very dissapointed with the service I am receiving.
