Afrihost "accidentally" lost 10 years worth of data!

<p>During the last week of November, Afrihost "accidentally" removed my domain from their spam servers. Along with it, they removed my spam sender blacklist that I have been populating in on a weekly basis for the last 10 years. Now they claim they cannot restore it as they do not have a backup. So far in the dealings that I have had with them their attitude has been been "Oops. Well, too bad, you'll just have to redo all your hard work, because we don't care." </p> <p> </p> <p>I have not been contacted by a manager, never been offered compensation and never been apologised to (accept for the stock "sorry for the inconvenience". Inconvenience doesn't start to cover it, 10 years of data!). </p> <p> </p> <p>In short, do not trust Afrihost with your hosting or data, they will just lose it and not give a f*ck.</p>
