AFRIHOST: A TOTAL NIGHTMARE

Afrihost - A total nightmare! Firstly their advertising is false. Save over R5k on installation, yet you pay R249.00 for your router to be delivered and you have to install it yourself. You call them and they activate your service. I haven't had internet since the beginning of December until now. I have made so many calls to Afrihost and every time I am told a different story! I have had to reset my router 3 times with my laptop. Then I get a signal, for all of 10 minutes whilst I am literally sit on top of the router. Once I move less than 10 meters away, the signal is gone. my telephones or tv doesn't work. Also promises of 'I will call you back in 5, or 10 or 30' and it never happens. I am 4 months into my contract, which is a month to month contract. I work from home and had to create a hotspot as I can't be without my laptop. I deal with companies overseas, often do conference calls, and when I saw what I spent the past 2 months I was mortified. Why pay for a service that is not existent? Their staff are absolutely useless and their service is the worst I have ever experienced. Please don't use them, you will be extremely disappointed.
