AFIHOST NOT COMPLIANT TO RULES AND REGULATIONS OF SOUTH AFRICA

Afrihost has a very sneaky way of onboarding you. All seems to be in order until it's not. The line is never what it's supposed to be. My 20 meg line has never operated on full capacity. The line is below 10 consistently. Today I was accused by billing for going onto the client zone to change my package when in fact it was an agent who did so and it's viewable on the system. This woman was so rude to me it was crazy.

I then received a bill for the upgraded line that I never asked for. Strangely enough, they upgrading from 1st of April due to corna thing going on. I have barely been able to do any work from home due to a bad connection.

The list just goes on and on. So wanted to advise consumers, companies can not do as they please. You have a contract agreement with Afrihost. That contract will state the sum you pay for the megs you requested. Not providing you with that service is a breach of the agreement. Therefore you are able to log this matter with the consumer protection act and inform NCA of how Afrihost is conducting agreements with customers.

The more people do this the more Afrihost will be taken to task to correct issues.
