Account suspended even before activation

I app**** for service from 01 April 2026 since I have a 1-month notice period agreement with my current service provider. Afrihost arranged for Openserve to do the installation to my house in beginning of March. After numerous attempts to log a ticket or to speak to bots on WA regarding an account suspension notice that was sent to me dialy via SMS, my account (which was not supposed to be active until 1 April)was eventually suspended due to "non-payment". The joke does not end here! I apparently app**** for a service and specifically declined the free router option on offer for new services. I find it ridiculous that someone will refuse a free offer worth +R1000, even if they don't need or want it. Good riddens Afrihost! If this is how you treat potential or new customers, I can just imagine the level of client service that will follow!
