8 Material CPA, POPIA & ISPA Violations: Hazardous Workmanship & Financial Harassment

I am publishing this to warn South African consumers about the severe lack of technical and administrative competence at Afrihost. I currently have an active, escalated dispute with an Independent Adjudicator (ISPA Case #11596) following a catastrophic series of failures:

1.Hazardous & Negligent Workmanship: The infrastructure installation failed in under 48 hours. The technician ran thin PVC conduit completely above ground, leaving it suspended in the air across gaps and over a shared concrete drainage path, entirely ignoring national fiber burial depth standards (CPA Section 54).

2.Property Damage: The shallow, uncompacted "trenching" has washed away, creating a hollowed-out, structural hazard under my precast boundary wall foundation. I have a professional repair quote of R3,254.50 from an independent contractor to fix this mess.

3.Data Privacy & Security Breach (POPIA): After I cancelled the service within 48 hours in March, Afrihost *******ly retained and utilized my financial data. They unilaterally "pushed" a previously revoked partial refund to a card I had explicitly deleted from their mobile application.

4.Systematic Financial Harassment: Despite being under active adjudication, their billing systems are actively running unauthorized automated EPOS card pings against my account. I have recorded unauthorized transactions as recently as 06 May 2026 and 11 May 2026, which are actively penalizing me with bank fees.

5.Administrative Misrepresentation: Afrihost falsely claimed to the mediator that my account was "in arrears" to shift blame, when all payments were fully up-to-date at the time of the dispute.

Due to a complete and documented breakdown of trust, I will not allow Afrihost's *********** contractors back onto my property. I demand that Afrihost's executive management bypasses their broken automated billing systems and issues a Direct Manual EFT Payout for the full quantified property damages (R3,254.50) and my remaining initial sign-up fees to close this file permanently.

The Independent Adjudicator has all photographic and banking evidence. Stop the card pings immediately.
