Formal Complaint: Repeated Email Deletions Resulting in Loss of R1,000,000 Contract – Request for Immediate Account Migration

Dear Afrihost Leadership Team,

I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint regarding repeated incidents of email deletion on my Afrihost-hosted email account, which have directly resulted in significant business and financial loss.

Due to the deletion of critical business emails, my company lost a contract valued at R1,000,000 (One Million Rand). These emails were essential for contract communication, negotiations, and confirmation, and their absence directly impacted our ability to respond and perform timeously.

This issue is not an isolated incident. I have had to log multiple support calls to recover deleted emails, including but not limited to the following reference numbers:

Attached to this email are the Afrihost Email Deletion Records, which clearly demonstrate a recurring pattern of email loss and recovery requests.

As a business that handles highly confidential and commercially sensitive information, the reliability, integrity, and availability of our email systems are non-negotiable. Unfortunately, these repeated failures have caused irreparable reputational and financial damage to my business and have significantly eroded my confidence in the current hosting setup.

Formal Requests In light of the above, I formally request the following:

A written explanation detailing the root cause of these repeated email deletions.

Confirmation of accountability and measures taken to prevent recurrence.

Immediate assistance to migrate my email account to a more stable and secure Afrihost-supported solution (or an alternative recommended platform) with zero data loss.

Engagement from a senior technical or leadership representative to resolve this matter with urgency.

This matter is extremely serious and requires executive-level attention. I trust Afrihost will treat this complaint with the urgency and professionalism it deserves.
