30% increase in less than 2 years, but hey, we can explain!

Afrihost & Frogfoot – Home of Pure Internet Joy… for THEM, not for you! I signed up for a 40/40 Mbps fibre package with Afrihost. Fast forward two years, and after FOUR price increases, I’m now paying nearly 30% more—for a package I never agreed to! Apparently, my original package “no longer exists,” so they helpfully upgraded me to a more expensive 60/60 line… without my consent. But here’s the kicker: I’m STILL getting 40 Mbps speeds! So, I’m paying for a more expensive service that doesn’t actually exist—unless you count imaginary upgrades! Meanwhile, their website offers a 100/100 package for the same price I’m paying for 60/60. But instead of offering that, I was presented with a slower 60/30 option for almost the same price as my original deal. How does this make sense, Afrihost? Frogfoot, are you part of this too? This is misleading, deceptive, and frankly borderline *****. If I didn’t check my speeds, I wouldn’t even know I’m still on the original service!
