100% Uptime not gauranteed
We moved our shared hosting over to Afrihost in February 2015. One of the reasons that we chose Afrihost above the other providers was because of their 100% uptime guarantee or double your money back. This was put to the test on Monday morning the 4th of April 2015 when they experienced some technical difficulties and rendered our website unavailable for more than two hours. This might have been longer as I only noticed this at 06:30 when I came into the office.When I queried their uptime guarantee with various people from Afrihost the run around started. Up until now I have received varied responses. Things like: \The server has to be down for longer than 24h". \""The money back guarantee is only of you cancel within 6 months.\"" Things like that. Please honour your own guarantee Afrihost."""
