Promised Service Till Renewal, Shut Down in 2 Days

I had ongoing RDP connectivity problems, and after I posted a Google review about my experience, things escalated quickly. On 10 October 2026, I received a termination email (Ticket ***). It said my services would continue until my next renewal date. Within two days, however, my client account showed as "Closed" and my VPS was inaccessible, with about 20 paid days still remaining. I was given no time to migrate or download my data. I have emailed them asking for a pro-rata refund for the unused period and am waiting for a response. Fortunately I had my own full backup, so no data was lost. Anyone considering Absolute Hosting should keep independent backups, as service may be cut off without warning, even after a written notice period. Thank you.
