Annoyed Customer
Google Playstore does not take responsibility for false advertising on their platform. Why? False advertising is an ******* practice in just about every country so why are they getting away with it?

Refuse to refund Live App online not even listed in my Google playstore very suspicious.
Google play store refuse to refund and Google Live Global app which is not listed or app developer doesn't assist after attempting to email or WhatsApp. Accidental R1,849.99 In-App Purchase Hello Google Play Support, I am requesting a manual review of an accidental in-app purchase of R1,849.99 for 7,000 coins, made on 1 October 2026. The app froze while I was using it, and I accidentally pressed the purchase button. I did not intentionally purchase the 7,000 coins. There was also a smaller accidental purchase of R20 for 70 coins, which Google Play has already refunded. However, the R1,849.99 purchase has not been refunded. My bank, Standard Bank, also immediately flagged the R1,849.99 transaction as suspicious and sent me a security alert: Card ending: *** Date: 01/10/2026 Amount: R1,849.99 Merchant: Google LIVE GLOBAL I understand that the automated refund system has declined my request, but I am asking for a manual review because this was an accidental purchase and I reported it immediately. I have not intentionally purchased or wanted the 7,000 coins. Please review the transaction and assist me with a refund of the R1,849.99. I result I have no access to my account as My bank block my card. They refuse to refund me.

Google play deducted my money without my permission
Google playstore for the order GPA.***.. Google Play deducted money from my account without my permission I am extremely disappointed with Google Play because money was deducted from my account without my authorization. I did not make or approve this purchase, yet the amount was taken from my account. I would like Google Play to investigate this transaction, explain how the deduction was authorized, and refund the full amount as soon as possible. I have checked my account and do not recognize the transaction. This is very concerning because it involves my money being taken without my permission. I would appreciate a prompt response and resolution. I can provide proof of the transaction.

Google One Subscription Charge yet no change
I have 3 subscriptions gor Google One storage on 3 different accounts. Two are fine yet one account is a mess. I've been paying for this subscription since March only to find out today that I've been paying for the subscription yet the space capacity has not been adjusted. The only solution for now is them activating free storage for 100Gb while they sort out the problem. But what about the 6 months I paid for????

GMAIL Storage ****
Google GMAIL has been requesting that I buy storage for the longest time, last week I purchased storage, money went off y account and a confirmation was sent. Yest I'm still being shown that I'm without storage Initially I was hesitant about this storage story from GMAIL being a money-0making scheme - but now I'm sure it is I want my money back, or my storage assigned t my account immediately!

Google Play is hosting a deceptive app that appears to exploit users for data and ad views
I am posting this as a public warning. I downloaded the app CashDrama through the Google Play Store. In my experience, this app appears to use a deeply misleading reward system to keep people watching videos and ads while consuming large amounts of mobile data. At the beginning, it gives the impression that cash-out is realistic and achievable. But as you get closer to the target, the goalposts shift. The reward value drops to almost nothing, new conditions appear, and extra ad-watching requirements are suddenly introduced only when you are supposed to be able to claim. In my opinion, that is deceptive by design. This is not a minor irritation. It causes real financial harm, especially in South Africa where data is expensive and many people cannot afford to waste money. In my case, I have lost roughly R3,500 in data in relation to this app. What makes this worse is that this app is not hidden away somewhere obscure. It is on Google Play and shows 10M+ downloads. That means this is potentially affecting a massive number of people. If even a fraction of users suffered similar losses, the consumer harm could run into the billions of rand. Google cannot simply wash its hands of this. This app was distributed through the Google Play Store. Google hosts the marketplace, approves listings, enforces policies, and presents Play as a safer environment for users. When an app appears to operate through shifting payout mechanics and misleading inducements, Google has a duty to act. I have already escalated this matter. I have: engaged Google support directly; demanded escalation to the CEO’s office; raised the issue with Nicole at Google Chat support; emailed the developer at *** ; escalated to *** ; escalated to *** . I am demanding: urgent investigation of this app; preservation of all complaint and approval records; substantive feedback from Google’s senior leadership; and accountability for the loss caused. My warning to the public is simple: Do not trust this app. Do not waste your data. Do not believe that the payout system is straightforward. In my experience, it appears designed to keep moving the target while users keep paying with their time, their attention, and their mobile data. Google must decide whether it wants to be seen as a platform that protects consumers, or a platform that allows this kind of conduct to continue at scale.
