Absorbent price increase
I have installed Zoom fiber at my home late February 2022. Price was R595 for a 50mbps line. This was not advertised as a special or reduced price. One month down the line the price increased to R795 for the same line and speed. This is rediculous! I phoned my service provider Axxess and was informed that it is the annual increase of Zoom. Increases are about to happen, but with more than 30%. That is really ****************. If it was not such a mission to get the fiber installed I would have cancelled immediately.

As Zoom Fibre, we ran a promotion on all our packages extended to our ISP partners which they then on-sell to you. Said promotion expired in February 2022. On the expiration of the promotion, we took the decision to not revert back to the standard pricing and instead offered the same packages at a reduced price, albeit not the promotion price.
We acknowledge the economic pressures experienced by all South Africans and are making our best efforts to offer a reasonable tariff whilst enabling our business to offer you a well-maintained network with minimal connectivity disruptions.
