Zone Fitness St Georges – Gym Facilities in Poor Condition

I feel compelled to share my experience with the gym facilities at Zone Fitness St Georges, as the state of the facility is unacceptable for members who pay for a 2-year contract. Despite residents paying annual maintenance fees, the gym has become increasingly unhygienic and poorly maintained.

Some of the ongoing issues include:

The gym is often dirty and poorly maintained.

Several pieces of equipment are broken or not working properly.

The elevator leading to the gym has been out of order for over a year, making access very difficult.

Persistent water issues remain unresolved.

Shower tiles are cracked or broken, posing safety risks.

Many lockers are damaged or unusable.

When we lodged a complaint with the manager, we were told that “there is nothing wrong with the facility” and that the elevator issues are because the building is old. This is not a valid excuse—members are paying for a functional, safe gym, not for old infrastructure issues, and we are locked into contracts with cancellation fees.

The condition of the facility is extremely disappointing and does not meet the standards that members should expect. Zone Fitness needs to urgently address these problems and bring the gym to a safe, clean, and properly maintained standard.
