Zone Fitness Ripped me off

I took out a membership with ZONE Fitness.

After 3 days I cancelled it and declined the debit order request the day it was sent due to me finding out that they would be taking money from me but placed me in a gym that was not even built yet and had not given me a temporary gym to use.So they would take money every month until the gym was built and I could not use any other gym they had.

After not receiving any response from them after numerous emails and phone calls,I decided to call once last time to request an email address that would respond to me.

I was told that I had contacted them too late as they only have a 5 day cooling off period for when I could cancel my contact/membership so now I have to pay a 1k fine.After going to the police about it and sending in proof that I had requested cancelation after 3 days of joining AS WELL as decline the debit order request,they refused to cancel my membership and forced me to pay the 1k (this was all my money for the month as I am a student that is unemployed).

I am extremely disgusted by this organization as I am not the first student they did this to.Many students have been ********** and money has been taken from their accounts when Zone Fitness had no legal right to do so.

I do not recommend them to any student or anyone actually as they do not respond to queries and refuse proper evidence that they requested in the first place.
