Zone fitness poor customer service

In December 2021 I was assisted by a brilliant salesman named Marven who attempted to sign me up for a family contract. Reason I wanted to use Zone wynberg branch was that it's close to home and son who is autistic is fami**** with the environment. The first mistake already was my wife was not present therefore I was told I could sign on her behalf which already makes the contract not valid. Second my son's account was not activated and no one contacted us to advise of the error which is on Zones side. We only found out when myself and my son tried using the contract in first week of Jan only to be turned away due to gym failing to activate my son's account. I than requested feedback from management to resolve this where by is was told they would not honur the discounted rate I signed for and I would have oo resign and pay full amount. This isn't my fault this would be the gyms. After being up and down to tee gym by the second week after still no feedback from gym we decided to cancel as per my lawyers advice as the contract terms and conditions doesn't provision or allow the gym to terminate or not activated a account if they 4themself failed to obtain all info needed. I have already paid 2months for myself and my wife whereby her contract should not be paid as it's invalid and *******y signed with out her ID. The gym wants me to pay and exuberant cancellation fee now with out showing any compassion to us as the client. 13 years ago we went through a similar situation whereby my wife signed a contract and not even once stepping into the gym we found out my son was autistic. We tried canceling after 8 months paying for a service we never used and even providing documentation as proof that my boy is autistic would the gym show compassion and demanded more money. Where does one draw the line against money hungry companies like these.
