Zone Fitness not safe at all - Think twice before joining (my stuff was ******)

I would like to share my bad experience that I had with zone fitness Bellville. I had finished my gym workout session in the morning. I went to take a shower and locked all my belongings in my locker. Within the 3 minutes I went to take a shower , my locker was broken into and my bag where i put my phones, clothes bank cards keys and many other things was ******. i informed the staff of what had happened and they made me write an incident report. I went on to ask them if they could check on the camera the people who went out during the time my stuff was ******. To my surprise they said they had no cameras even on the entrance or anywhere within the building. TO make matters worse after the incident, I was never contacted by anyone from the gym to ascertain what had happened. They only got to contact me when I went to the gym cancel my membership, the reason they were calling me was to tell me that i was in breach of my contract and they would charge me the cancellation fee regardless of me having lost things worth more than the contract itself. I was still in the first two weeks of my membership when this happened. I asked the lady why they have the showers in the first place if its not safe for people to exercise and shower in peace and when your stuff is ****** you are told you are in breach of contract yet you are cancelling because its not safe. It made me wonder what would happen is someone gets ****** outside of the gym and you get told told there are no cameras in this day and age where the client's safety should be the number one priority. I would like to bring it to the attention of everyone who might want to join Zone Fitness that this is what you will experience and you have to ask yourself is it really worth joining them. I have been in other gym brands and never had to experience such issues and worse to hear they don't even have a single camera outside of the changing rooms or within the facility
